An F1 car has very impressive breaking characteristics. It can stop from 200kp/h within 1.9 seconds and a distance of about 55meters. During braking, the driver experiences 5G of pressure while he is forced into the safety belts.

A Formula One driver changes gear approximately 2,600 times throughout a race. Williams has calculated that one engine makes 8 million ignitions during a Grand Prix.

TRANSPORT INFORMATION

SHUTTLE BUSES:
To facilitate the transportation to the circuit, SIC has arranged four shuttle bus lines for the ticket holders to the track from October 17 - 19. Ticket holders travel free on shuttle buses.

Shuttle 1 - Kaixuan Road "Zhongcao Road" Parking Lot to SIC No.13 Parking Lot
Shuttle 2 - No.200 Huichuan Road "near Zhongshan Park" to SIC No.11 Parking Lot
Shuttle 3 - No.6 Gate Yuanshen Stadium "Pudong" to SIC Inner Ring North Road
Shuttle 4 - Hongkou Stadium to SIC No.14 Parking Lot

Shuttles run from 7:30am to midday and return from 2pm to 1 hour after the last race.

Purchase 4 tickets to the F1 and be entitled to purchase a car park pass.

Two types of Parking Passes are available:
Bus - HKD $1000 (with a purchase of minimum 40 or more tickets)
